Patagonia: One of the Most Admired Examples When It Comes to Sustainability

Fashion is none of our business, says this last message from Patagonia. And we tottaly agree, because their business is creating gear that is multifunctional, repairable and timeless—because the longer it stays in play, the better it is for the earth.

As simple as that. If Patagonia managed to reach the world by building a brand that adds value to mountain apparel sustainably, and even implementing policies to offset its carbon footprint globally, why wouldn't you try to do the same through your daily actions?

Yes — they are a for-profit company, which in their case means to sell gear, but that’s fine. As Sunny Fassler said, their campaign is a really smart way to tap into people’s psyche and consumer behaviorism
