We—and probably you too—love outdoor activities. From surfing to climbing, travelling to falling under a sky full of stars, we all love enjoying and exploring the planet.

But how many of us actually try to take care of the places we love to enjoy? And going further, how many of us understand how much we are part of this Earth, just like other species: plants, animals, entire ecosystems?

This is why we sat down with Analí Bustos, an Argentinian ecologist with a key role in protecting biodiversity across Latin America. In this conversation, she invites us to rethink restoration — not just as an environmental action but as a deeply human process.

In a context of climate crisis and biodiversity loss, we believe it’s crucial to listen to those who are working to care for and restore the places we inhabit.
